On April 8, SKF China's small tapered roller bearing production base was opened in Changshan County, Ganzhou City. The newly-built Changshan production base has a total investment of 200 million Swedish kronor and covers an area of 145,000 square meters. It mainly produces tapered roller bearings and will be used in automobiles, agricultural machinery and general machinery.
Combining the rich bearing product portfolio of SKF, Peel and GM bearings, the completion of the Changshan production base will further enhance SKF's competitiveness and customer service level in the Chinese tapered roller bearing market. A more comprehensive product mix, faster delivery times, and engineering skills that fit the customer will better meet the diverse needs of Chinese customers and provide better, more responsive services.
