Double end grinding machines are mainly used for grinding two opposite planes of workpieces, with high processing efficiency, high dimensional accuracy, and high degree of automation. They are widely used in industries such as automobiles, hydraulic systems, measuring tools, cutting tools, bearings, precision ceramics, etc. Typical types of processed parts are shown in the following figure.

This exhibition is a DFine series single/double sided grinding machine marble model, which is an innovative grinding machine that supports 2-8 spindle planetary grinding, grinding one surface at a time, and achieving double-sided precision grinding through an automatic flipping mechanism.

 

This machine tool adopts a natural marble bed, which has excellent mechanical stability, thermal stability, and damping, making it particularly suitable for the processing of high-precision, high surface quality parts. The machine tool has the characteristics of high efficiency and large cutting capacity of traditional double end grinding machines, as well as the characteristics of planetary motion precision grinding of double-sided grinding machine workpieces, combining the advantages of both.

 

This machine tool uses fixed fixtures for clamping, which can process workpieces with a larger aspect ratio than ordinary planetary grinding, and is more suitable for end face machining of typical parts such as various rollers and planetary reducer gears. 5. Conclusion

 

At present, most of the products of various brands both domestically and internationally are classic traditional structures similar to those exhibited by PETER WOLTLERS in Germany. In recent years, there has not been much innovation in terms of structure, working methods, and other aspects. The exhibition of DISKUS this time has a certain degree of innovation, combining the advantages of double-sided grinding machines and grinders. It uses fixed fixtures to clamp and solve some typical problems of double-sided grinding, which is a highlight of this type of exhibition.

 

Overall, domestic exhibits are constantly improving, but there is still a significant gap compared to internationally advanced products in terms of technological maturity, processing accuracy, product grade, and machine tool appearance, and there is still a long way to go. Increasing innovation research efforts, developing more targeted and distinctive products, making partial breakthroughs first, and then developing comprehensively, will help to continuously narrow the distance with advanced foreign products and meet the needs of domestic and foreign customers for high-end products.
